Merri Bremer is Program Director for the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography (ACS) Program and is also an Education and Quality Coordinator for the Mayo Clinic Echocardiography Lab in Rochester, MN. She holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She has been a member of ASE for 30 years and has held FASE status since 2002.
Dr. Bremer is board-certified as a Registered Nurse and holds the sonographer credentials of RDCS and ACS. In addition to ASE, Dr. Bremer is an active member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and participates in ultrasound program accreditation through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS). She is currently a member of the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Board of Advisors and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Board of Directors.
